Nanded, Maharashtra – In a significant development for the city’s business community, renowned farmer leader and social activist Mr. Gunvant Patil Hangargekar has been unanimously elected as the President of the Vyapari Mahasangh, Nanded.

The election and installation ceremony, held recently, witnessed an overwhelming presence of local merchants, business owners, and dignitaries. The venue was packed, reflecting the community’s high expectations and trust in Gunvant Patil’s leadership.

Adding prestige to the event, local journalists and media personnel were present in large numbers to cover this important transition of leadership for Nanded’s trader community. Their presence underscored the event’s significance for the local economic landscape.

Gunvant Patil Hangargekar, who already serves as the General Secretary of the All India Kisan Coordination Committee and a member of the central government’s MSP committee, brings a wealth of administrative and advocacy experience to the table. His previous leadership roles, including President of the Shetkari Sanghatana and the Nanded Mango Merchants Association, make him a fitting choice to helm the Vyapari Mahasangh.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected President thanked the members for their trust and pledged to work tirelessly for the welfare, rights, and growth of every merchant and small business owner in Nanded.
